Janet Jackson, who was set to resume her Rock Witchu tour in Greensboro N.C., on Saturday night, has delayed yet three more shows because of an undisclosed illness, People reported. According to Jackson’s publicist, the 42-year-old singer, who was hospitalized last week and released, was not fully recovered by this week’s Saturday-night show. Additionally, two more gigs, one on Sunday in Atlanta and one on Tuesday in Fort Lauderdale, were also postponed. Even though she had arrived in Greensboro hoping to perform on Saturday, a local doctor recommended that she didn’t take the stage as it was “evident” she was not completely well yet. A spokesperson from Jackson’s camp added that she will return home for further treatment, and said that she was “recuperating”. Last week, the R&B diva pulled out the last minute from a show in Montreal after becoming “suddenly ill.” She was immediately taken to Royal Victoria Hospital on Monday night, and released two hours after she arrived but it is still not clear why she was admitted. The singer’s shows in Boston and Philadelphia on Wednesday and Thursday were postponed and she was supposed to resume her tour in Greensboro, which obviously didn’t happen. Fans were asked to hold on to their tickets pending a future announcement regarding the rescheduled date.
